most amazing book i have read .I love thrillers and this was far beyond a page turner . i don't usually do comments but this book i did and recommend this book . i hope it takes a huge spin off and gets ratings like other authors because he deserves it. great job!
I knew this book was going to be awesome the moment I saw it, because it has a rose, and I freaking HATE roses, and someone stabbed it with a knife! They stabbed it SO HARD! Also the author's name was a lot like R. L. Stein so I was like, oh man, this is gonna be a creepy good time! Turns out I was right!
This is a story about two men who have unrequited love for each other, only they can't make love because gay love is against God's wishes, so they kill other families instead, to show each other that if they can't get married, no one can. The murdering is actually pretty kick ass, and is done very tastefully with lots of action and choreographed stunts. At one point, things get pretty intense and it's like, a book within a book. Inception style. Amazing.
I gave it one less star because the time travel elements just really didn't make sense, and I had trouble telling which of the two characters was supposed to be the Gary Stu.
I would definitely download this book illegally again in the future.
The writing could have been more edited and revised....it was hard to follow the character, and I had a difficult time with the structure of the writing in and of itself
